MISSION SUNDAY

22 OCTOBER, 2017.
WORLD MISSION SUNDAY.
Isaiah 2:1-5
Psalm 122
1Timothy 2:1-8
Mark 16:15-20
MISSION AT THE HEART OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.
For our reflection today, I give a summary of the Pope’s message for World Mission Sunday:
Jesus, “the very first and greatest evangelizer” continues to send us out “to proclaim the Gospel of the love of God the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit” to “a world marked by confusion, disappointment and frustration and… wars that unjustly target the innocent.” It is needful, then, that we reflect on our mission which is “at the heart of the Christian faith.”
The subject of the Church’s mission is the Gospel which is transformative. It brings joy that is contagious which invigorates the hearers. Jesus is the Way we follow to experience Truth and receive his Life “which is fullness of communion with God the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit.” It is the will of the Father that we be existentially transformed to worship Him “in spirit and in truth.” The preaching of the Gospel is “vital and effective” in making Jesus Christ incarnate in our human milieu.
In the mission of the Church, Christ Jesus continues the work of evangelization He started, thus making every moment in history a “favourable time of salvation.” In the proclamation of the Gospel, the Risen Lord is with us, transforming all those who welcome Him to be agents of “a fruitful humanity and creation." We should remember that we are Christians because of our encounter with a Living Person Jesus and not because “of an ethical choice or a lofty idea” (Benedict XVI, Deus Caritas Est,1). Jesus is personified in the Gospel. In the Sacraments of Initiation; Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist, the Gospel becomes for us “a source of life… a fortifying anointing and… food for new life.” Our world is very much in need of the Gospel of Jesus, who “through the Church continues his mission as the Good Samaritan… and Good Shepherd.” Testimonies about the transforming power of the Gospel abound.
In being faithful to her mission, “a spirituality of constant exodus, pilgrimage and exile” has emerged in the Church. In carrying out her mission, the Church should in humility see herself as “an instrument of meditation of the Kingdom.” Young people are the hope of mission. Everything should be done to involve them in work of mission. The Synod of Bishops for 2018 has the theme “Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment.” The Pontifical Mission Societies have a great role to play in keeping alive the “missionary spirituality” in every Christian Community.
To remain committed to our mission, we have to work with Mary Mother of Evangelisation, whose ‘yes’ brought down Jesus “the very first greatest evangelizer.” May she intercede for us at all times.
Mary, Mother and Star of Evangelization, pray for us. Amen.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine-grower…Every branch that bears fruit He prunes, to make it bear more fruits (John 15:1&2).
-FR. PAUL B. ENOW.

PRACTICING THE WORD

18 He chose to give us birth through the WORD of truth, that we might be a kind of first-fruits of all he created.
19 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed in what he does.
26 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. {James 1:18-27}
The theme of this passage centers on God's living Word:
Being born through the Word (1:18)
Preferring the Word to moral filth (1:19-21)
Letting the Word save us (1:21)
Listening to and practicing the Word (1:22-25)
Experiencing the freedom of the Word (1:25)
Living out the Word's teaching in practical ways (1:26-27)
May the Holy Spirit fill us with the sincerity of allowing these fruits of His Grace to manifest every second in our lives in Jesus Name. Amen.

THE PLACE OF MARY

The Catholic Church needs us to grow in sound teachings about Marian Knowledge and Holy Spirit Knowledge for a balanced spirituality and inner peace of soul.
The whole world needs our Mother Mary for a balanced relationship with the Trinity God.
It is God that made this movement and process necessary thus "The angel came to her and said, “Peace be with you! The Lord is with you and has greatly blessed you!”29 Mary was *deeply troubled* by the angel's message, and *she wondered* what his words meant. 30 The angel said to her, *“Don't be afraid,* Mary; *God has found favor with you.*
Not because of who she is (human person) but because God chose her as a human being to carry *him* in her womb/body. Through our Mother Mary to Jesus Christ we have a *human to God* type of relationship. Through our direct move towards God we have a *God to God* type of relationship which will always create a friction.
Because in this 2nd type of relationship we are jumping a step.
We are denying our humanity and weakness and claiming strong and equal with God despite the fact we know we are human beings.
We jump A to C just like in alphabet reading.
We will always have friction in such type of relationship.
That was why God chose to come to us through a human pathway so that we can acknowledge our humanity as a pathway to coming to him.
Recognising our humanity prefigures humility.
This quality is the gift of God to our Mother Mary which destroyed the pride of devil.
This is the quality of a human being that destroyed the quality of an angel.
Exegesist i.e. people who study the indepth nature of the Holy Bible have it that Genesis 1:1 embodies the creation of angels first before the creation of man in Genesis 1:26-28 according to produres.
"In the beginning, when God created the universe," (Genesis 1:1).
So the term universe is said to include among so many other things "angels".
So lucifer as an angel saw man as a lower being to them because they (angels) have no mortal bodies made of dust but only 'spirit' hence the jealousy that stirred up in his heart when God said "let us create man in our own image" (Genesis 1:26) which placed 'a being' created later in creation process above 'other beings' created first (1st).And God gave that later being(mankind) his COMPLETE NATURE.
This jealousy in his heart made him to revolt against God's choice and decision in terms of creation process thus " 23 When God created us, he did not intend for us to die; he made us like himself. 24 It was the Devil's jealousy that brought death into the world, and those who belong to the Devil are the ones who will die." (Wisdom 2:23-24). The revolution of lucifer (1st in ranking amongst angels) made God to give Michael (2nd ranking amongst angels) his power to chase lucifer away from heaven thus a war broke in heaven.
Lucifer with his mindset and gifts as well as position thought he will defeat Michael since he(Michael) is his junior in ranking but he did not know that any being with God's power is superior no matter what and can conquer any battle thus "It is not by Power or Might but by my Spirit says the Lord" (Zech.4:6).
Michael sent him away from heaven with his angels and became the Number 1 in ranking and ever faithful/loyal servant of God.
"Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, who fought back with his angels; 8 but the dragon was defeated, and he and his angels were not allowed to stay in heaven any longer. 9 The huge dragon was thrown out—that ancient serpent, named the Devil, or Satan, that deceived the whole world. He was thrown down to earth, and all his angels with him." (Revelation 12:7-9).Lucifer did not just go away to the earth but he swore an oath thus " The dragon was furious with the woman and went off to fight against the rest of her descendants, all those who obey God's commandments and are faithful to the truth revealed by Jesus." (Revelation 12:17).
So many people do not want trouble with the devil but the devil has sworn to deal with them thus any man/woman who believes in Jesus Christ and collaborates with the Holy Spirit in manifesting the life of Holiness has an arch-enemy (devil). You will only be deceiving yourself if you are saying "I do not want any trouble with the devil and his angels (demons) while they are already fighting you day and night as well as accusing you day and night before God.
So many people say they believe in Jesus Christ and keep the commandments of God but Virgin Mary is not there Mother. May be you just ask the Holy Spirit why did his word call everybody who obeys God Commandment and witness to Jesus Christ the children of that woman?
For those who doubt that the woman refered to in this passage of the Scripture is not Mary Mother of Jesus Christ, I encourage you to use Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me, I will answer you and I will show you secrets and mighty things you do not know" to pray and ask the Holy Spirit directly which woman this passage is making reference to!
It will also be good if someone claims to obey God's Word will tell us how he/she fulfils the Word of God in Luke 1:48 " for he has remembered me, his lowly servant! From now on *all people will call me happy*".
In honoring our Mother Mary, you put on the humility of a real human being who needs God as 'a Savior' therefore approaching Jesus Christ in a most perfect way. Humility is the core attribute to sincerity in worshipping God. Sincerity in worshipping God is defined by a man/woman who prays thus "God I want to worship you in your own style/method not in my own style/method"...."Jesus Christ, I want to worship you in your style/method not in my own style/method"...."Holy Spirit, I want to worship you in your own style/method not in my own style/method".
"Trinity God, I want to worship you in your own style/method not in my own style/method"...."Father help me by your Grace in line with your word" thus Our Mother declared " I am the Lord's servant,” said Mary; “may it happen to me according to YOUR WORD said.” And the angel left her." (Luke 1:38). Humility moves God in any man beyond any other thing thus " I myself created the whole universe! I am pleased with those who are humble and repentant, who fear me and obey me." (Isaiah 66:2). Humility is number-1 i.e. I need God to help me no matter who I am or where I may have gotten in life or what I may have achieved in life, Repentance Number-2; No matter how Holy I claim to be I need the mercy of God, I ask always ask God for the forgiveness of my sins even if I think I have not committed any sin thus anywhere I find myself I confess my sins to Jesus Christ any time my conscience warns me about any and plead the blood of Jesus Christ to wash me and I believe I cleansed completely as the Holy Spirit who forgave me at any location of my confession still leads me to the Sacrament of reconciliation for another powerful absolution and cleansing through the Priest who will carry my sins and take them to the altar through the Holy Mass and nail all of them to Calvary as Jesus Christ did on the day of his death on good-friday thus " he canceled the unfavorable record of our debts with its binding rules and did away with it completely by nailing it to the cross." (Colossian 2:14). This is why Paul said "...every time you eat his body and drink his blood, you proclaim his death until he comes again" (1 Cor. 11:26). The Sacrament of reconciliation is not the same thing as councilling done by a believer to help you in a particular sinful habit becuase there is a great difference between "these signs shall follow believers" (Mark. 16:15-20) which is manifested in any believer in Christ Jesus and "Becuase you have been with me all these while thereforeI confer a kingdom on you just like my Father gave to me, you shall eat and drink with me in my kingdom (EUCHARISTIC AUTHORITY) and you shall judge the 12-tribes of Israel (CONFESSIONAL ABSOLUTION AUTHORITY) found in Luke 22:28-30 to confirm it further the author of hebrews stated thus "no one takes this honor upon himself but is chosen as Aaron was" (Hebrews 5:4) henve this call has a process just like Aaron was chosen to be a Priest in Exodus 28:1 following instead of Moses who is closest to God. That someone is a Catholic Priest does not make him holier than every other believer but he is called through a defined process to precide over the family of believers in peculiar functions. It should be noted that Catholic Priesthood is the easiest way to heaven and the easiest way to hell-fire hence the person involved is still expected to make a personal choice of where he wants to spend eternity. It is our duty to pray for them to chose heavenly sanctity above mere titles or special authorities used to execute the Holy Seven Sacraments of the Church. Because He is a Validly ordained Catholic Priests after the confessionals he carries our sins and his own then climbs the altar through the Holy Sacrifice of Calvary to nail all our sins to the Cross just like Jesus did on Good-Friday hence a councillor cannot do this thus it is not the same thing with councilling done anywhere. The Power to absolve sins given to the apostles is particular to them and very necessary for every believer including the Priests themselves to confess their sins to their fellow Priests or else that conditional tone of Christ will not be used there thus "whose sin you forgive are forgiven and whose sin you retain are retained" hence some sins can be forgiven or retained depending on the judgement of the Priests who acts in the Person of Christ who desires mercy for each human soul hence such a person must be adequately trained to function in that capacity and have a genuine disposition to the working manifestations of the Holy Spirit who has a particular reason of leading a sinner to the confessional when he said to them; "go and show yourself to the priest" (Luke 17:14) hence the faculty of Sacramental confession is the 1st thing always taken away from a validly ordained Catholic at the show of disobedience to Christ and his Church anytime anyday. We continue to pray for our Priests that the Holy Spirit will sustain them in Grace, Truth and Sound doctrine in Jesus Name. Amen. So sacrament of reconciliation is not the same as councilling and every believer in Jesus needs to partake in this unmerited throne of forgiveness while on this earth by returning to complete obedience to the Church. May the Holy Spirit help those who are separated by birth and prejudice from the Church discover this sound truth and return to the Church for complete healing in Jesus Name. Amen.
Reverential fear of God is defined by your unrelenting thirst to obey every word of God written in the Holy Bible just to tell God how much you appreaciate his love towards you not just because of the fear of hell-fire alone.
Thus Obedience to your word is the delight of my soul. Jeremiah 15:16 " You spoke to me, and I listened to every word. I belong to you, Lord God Almighty, and so your words filled my heart with joy and happiness". May the Holy Spirit enlighten the eyes of our mind to comprehend his inspired interpretation(rhema) of this write-up as individuals and a family of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Amen.

DESIRE

God has planted eternity in man, an unusual desire in man only him can satisfy (Ecclesiastes 3:11AMP) why I love this passage so much is it tells us that everything we desire is ONLY GOD CAN SATISFY IT. It is God that gave us each desire inside us and he alone can satisfy it. Just tell him to satisfy any of them before you begin to use anything called human style/strategy/method.Holy Spirit satisfy my desire in Jesus Name. Amen.
Thus Desire to eat food, Desire to drink water, Desire to read books, Desire to Study your Holy Bible, Desire to grow in Holiness, Desire for sex, Desire to marry husband/wife, Desire to have a child(male/female), Desire to become a priest/religious, Desire to becomes financially prosperous, Desire to win souls for his kingdom, Desire to Grow in Grace, Desire to achieve your purpose on this earth as He(God) had prepared it before the foundation of this world, Desire to achieve a particular result in any particular time...Just say "Holy Spirit please satisfy this particular desire since each of my desire came from you and only you know how to satisfy it and I will still remain Holy and Pleasing to you in your presence in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
Thus Holy Spirit satisfy my sexual urge in Jesus Name. Amen. The Holy Spirit automatically satisfies and fills you with his sexual urge satisfaction and you will not need to finger yourself or your sexual organs or have sex with anybody whether you are married or single, if you want to stay away, you will not need to be involved in unnatural sexual acts as wedded couples again, you will not need a sex-toy, pornography, masturbation or any other thing to satisfy your sexual urge becuase the one who gave you this desire has satisfied it completely. You can remain a celibate and consecrate your virginity to God till you die if you desire not to marry and you will never be involved in any sexual sin ranging from immoral thoughts to immoral acts of any sort at all. WOW OUR GOD IS BEAUTIFUL AND COMPLETE BECAUSE I AM LIVING TESTIMONY OF THIS SEXUAL SATISFACTION CONSISTENTLY FOR THE PAST 20-YEARS OF MY LIFE. THANK YOU JESUS CHRIST!!!
"He opens his hand freely and satisfies all our desires" (Psalm145:16).
"Be filled/satisfied with the Holy Spirit and you will no longer desire carnal things again" (Galatians 5:16). When the Holy Spirit fills or satisfies a man by pouring himself (Father, Son & Spirit) into any human being, he fills up every part of that person and there will be no space for any other thing (sin/desire) again because he fills us to the brim and covers us up with a seal so that nothing else can be poured into us by us or any other external force.
Thus Ephesians 1:13 and Ephesians 4:30 talks about the seal of the Holy Spirit even Jesus Christ talked about the Seal that the Father has placed upon him alone and anyone who believes in Him.
This seal is an eternal guarantee that we will be saved on the day of judgment.
So all we need to do is to tell the Holy Spirit to fill us with his satisfaction every second of our lives and be specific to mention each desire that we want him to fill/satisfy.
This is done by consistent meditation on the Written Word of God which is the Spirit of God thus "the flesh cannot do anything on its own, it is the spirit that gives life to the flesh, and the words that I speak to you are Spirit and Life" (John 6:63).
Holy Spirit with the desire for complete healing in Jesus Name. Amen.
And you tell yourself "I believe it is done, I am not afraid of the distractions of sickness that might persist in the flesh or physical" (Mark 5:36).
Holy Spirit fill me with the satisfaction of meditating on your word day and night in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
I believe it is already established in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen. (John 19:30; It is Finished/Established/Confirmed/Manifested).
It is destroyed (John 19:30) for all the evil plans of devil and demons, Wicked-men/women in my life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
In this time and generation; Holiness/Perfection through Faith in Christ Jesus is achievable because we are born-again of the INCORRUPTIBLE SEED OF THE WORD OF GOD" (1 Peter. 1:23).
May the Holy Spirit continue to sustain us in his Grace, Power, Faith, Righteousness, Peace and Joy in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
Have a blessed day!!!

MARITAL CHASTITY

Saint Alphonsus Liguori on Marital Chastity
Introduction

Saint Alphonsus Liguori was a Catholic Bishop who lived from 1696 to 1787. He died at the age of 90 years. He was canonized by Pope Gregory XVI, and was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church by Pope Pius IX. He is the patron Saint of confessors and of moral theologians.

The work titled "Moral Theology" by Saint Alphonsus Liguori contains a few brief passages on marital chastity, that is to say, on which types of sexual acts are permissible in marriage. Of course, all sexual acts are prohibited outside of marriage.

The work in question is ten thick volumes entirely in Latin. The work is a review of opinions by theologians on various moral questions. A question is stated, and then differing answers found among various authors are explained. However, the vast majority of these authors and their cited works are lost in obscurity. The main purpose of the work is to survey opinions of Catholic theologians and authors on various topics in moral theology. So the mere fact that a position is stated in "Moral Theology" does not imply the opinion is sound. Even so, at certain points in the work, Saint Alphonsus Liguori states his own understanding of the topic, rejecting one answer and affirming another.

1: On Matrimony, Book VI, n. 491-492

St. Alphonsus considers a question on marital sexual acts:

Latin: An autem sit semper mortale, si vir immittat pudenda in os uxoris?
Translation: "Or whether it is always [a] mortal [sin], if the husband were to insert [his] penis into the mouth of [his] wife?"

Then, the Saint gives an answer proposed by some moral theologians of his day:

Latin: Negant ... modo absit periculum pollutionis.
Translation: "In the negative [say several authors] ... but only if there is no danger of pollution."

Some theologians of that time period (1700's) claimed that it would be moral, only if there was no danger that the husband would climax ("danger of pollution"). But then the Saint rejects their answer and gives an answer he asserts to be the truth:

Latin: Sed verius affirmant ... tum quia in hoc actu ob calorem oris adest proxiumum periculum pollutionis, tum quia haec per se videtur nova species luxuriae contra naturam (dicta ab aliquibus irrumatio)
Translation: "But the truth is in the affirmative [citing several authors] ... not only because, in this act, on account of the warmth of the mouth, there is proximate danger of pollution, but also because this [act] is considered [to be], in itself, an abnormal type of pleasure against nature (as has been said of any type of shameful sex)."

Saint Alphonsus asserts that this type of act, within marriage is a mortal sin for two reasons. First, because there is always the danger of pollution, i.e. the risk that the husband will climax, making the act a completed unnatural sexual act. Second, because this type of act, even without climax, is "in itself ... against nature", which means that it is an intrinsically evil and gravely immoral sexual sin. And he asserts that the same is true of "any type of shameful sex", that is to say, any type of unnatural sexual act.

Canon Law defines the natural sexual act in explaining the consummation of a marriage. A marriage that is ratified by the consent of the spouses (at the wedding ceremony) is afterward consummated only "if the spouses have performed between themselves in a human fashion a conjugal act which is suitable in itself for the procreation of offspring, to which marriage is ordered by its nature and by which the spouses become one flesh." [Canon 1061, n. 1]. Even if one or both spouses are infertile for some reason, the act is still termed natural, if it is the type of act that would be capable of procreation if they were fertile.

The moral object of any act is the end toward which the knowingly chosen act is inherently ordered, regardless of whether the moral object is attained. To be moral, each and every sexual act must be marital, unitive, and procreative. Sexual relations open to life is inherently ordered toward the procreative meaning, and so it is called the natural act.

An unnatural sexual act is any type of sex, whether or not climax occurs, which is not ordered, by the nature of the act, toward procreation. Unnatural sexual acts are not procreative. Neither are they truly unitive (even if there exists a merely physical type of union in the act), since these acts do not offer the type of union ordained by God for husband and wife.

Then the Saint adds some commentary after his answer:

Latin: Semper enim ac quaeritur a viro aliud vas, praeter vas naturale, ad copulam institutum, videtur nova species luxuriae.
Translation: "And besides, whenever another orifice [or vessel] is sought by the husband, other than the natural orifice, which has been ordained for copulation, it is considered [to be] an abnormal type of [sexual] pleasure."

The term "vessel" [vas] in Latin texts of moral theology refers to any orifice or receptacle used in a sexual act. The natural vessel is the vagina of the wife. Unnatural vessels include any other orifice or body part used to commit a sexual act (even if it is not strictly speaking an orifice).

2: On Matrimony, Book VI, Q. 919

Latin:An autem, si vir se retrahat post seminationem, sed ante seminationem mulieris, possit ipsa statim tactibus se excitare, ut seminet?
Translation: "Then, if the husband withdraws after climax, but before the climax of the wife, whether it is possible for her to immediately excite herself with touches so as to climax?"

Latin: Ratio, quia semen mulieris non est necessarium ad generationem; item quia effusio illa mulieris, utpote separata, non fit una caro cum viro.
Translation: "The reason: because the climax of the wife is not necessary to procreation; also, because this sexual pleasure of the wife, in as much as they are separated, does not occur as one flesh with the husband."

Saint Alphonsus Liguori cites several authors answering "No". He agrees with this answer, explaining the reason. First, the climax of the wife is not essential to procreation, as it is for the husband. So her act, in exciting herself with touches after his withdrawal (after natural marital relations has ended) lacks the procreative meaning of sex. Second, the sexual pleasure of the wife, if it is obtained while they are separated, also lacks the unitive meaning of sex.

In modern terms, for any sexual act to be moral, the act must be ordered inherently toward three goods: the marital, unitive, and procreative meanings. But in the act considered here, the wife carries out a sexual act which is absent of the unitive and procreative goods. In fact, because it is not unitive or procreative, her act is nothing other than masturbation (even if it is her husband who touches her). And such an act is also not truly marital. It is not the type of sexual act God intends for Christian spouses.

Latin: sed haec ratio non suadet, nam si hoc permitteretur uxiborus deberet permitti etiam viris
Translation: "This reason is not persuasive, for if this is permitted to wives, it ought to be permitted also to husbands."

Saint Alphonsus then cites some authors who answer the question "Yes", but he rejects their answer, explaining that their reason is not persuasive. For it were moral for the wife, it would be moral for the husband. There are not two separate versions of the eternal moral law in the marital bedroom, one for the wife and a different one for the husband. So Saint Alphonsus agrees with the authors who answered "No". Clearly, the Saint rejected the idea of a wife using any technique, whether touches or any other means, to reach climax, after the husband withdraws. For then the two are not one flesh, and so the unitive meaning is absent from the sexual act. In addition, such a sexual act apart from union is also not procreative. The absence of the unitive and procreative meanings is what makes such a sexual act gravely immoral.

Alphonsus does not accept the idea that the wife has a right to obtain sexual pleasure, regardless of the means, as some modern authors imply. Neither does the Saint treat the subsequent act of the wife and the prior act of natural marital relations as if these together constituted "one act", as other modern authors have claimed.

Moreover, the reasons given by the "No" response, which is the response of the Saint, are completely in accord with the recent teachings of the Magisterium that "each single act", that is to say, "each and every marital act must of necessity retain its intrinsic relationship to the procreation of human life" and that there is an "inseparable connection, established by God, which man on his own initiative may not break, between the unitive significance and the procreative significance which are both inherent to the marriage act." [Pope Paul VI, Humanae Vitae, n. 3, 11, 12]

3: On Matrimony, Book VI, Q. 916

In this question, Saint Alphonsus rejects the proposition, so often asserted today, that the married couple may use unnatural sexual acts, as long as the husband completes the act (i.e. climaxes) only in a subsequent act of natural marital relations.

Latin: An peccet mortaliter vir inchoando copulam in vase praepostero , ut postea in vase debito eam consummet?
Translation: "Whether it is a mortal sin for the husband to begin copulating in a disordered [or perverse] orifice, then afterward consummate the act in the proper orifice?"

This is exactly the idea proposed by foolish commentators today. They claim that all manner of unnatural sexual acts (oral, anal, manual "stimulation") are justified as long as the husband "completes" the act by climaxing in a subsequent act of natural marital relations. And what answer does Saint Alphonsus give to the question?

First, notice that the question asks if this proposal is a mortal sin. As usual, the Saint cites opinions on both sides of the question, first citing some who say "No", it is not a mortal sin, as long as there is no "danger of pollution" (i.e. danger of the husband climaxing during the unnatural sexual act), and others who say that there is no mortal sin in any sexual acts between the spouses. But the Saint rejects these opinions.

Saint Alphonsus says: "But they [other cited authors] affirm, commonly and correctly," that it is a mortal sin. So the Saint states that the correct opinion, which was also the common opinion of the theologians of his day, is that such acts are gravely immoral. The reason he gives is quite compelling.

Latin: Ratio, quia ipse hujusmodo coitus (etsi absque seminatione) est vera sodomia, quamvis non consummata, sicut ipsa copula in vase naturali mulieris alienae est vera fornication , licet non adsit seminatio.
Translation: "The reason is that this manner of his sexual act (even without climax) is truly sodomy, whether or not it is consummated, just as an act of copulation in the natural orifice of another woman is truly fornication, even if there is no climax."

So Saint Alphonsus Liguori rejected the idea that unnatural sexual acts are moral to use as foreplay, as long as the husband consummates only in a subsequent natural act. And yet this rejected idea continues to be promoted today, mostly by Catholics who hide behind the anonymity of the internet.

Exhortation

Many different excuses are being used today to give approval to the use of unnatural sexual acts within the Sacrament of holy Matrimony. And whether I present the teachings of Saint Augustine and Saint Aquinas (See this article), or of present-day theologians (same article), or the answers given by Saint Alphonsus, I know that some readers will use the flimsiest excuses to dismiss whatever is said, no matter how compelling. But if anyone offers them a way to justify this type of sin, no matter how ridiculous, they adopt it as if it were dogma.

The first principle of ethics is a sincere conscience, which seeks moral truth with severe intellectual honesty. In most discussions on sexual ethics in general and marital ethics in particular, the persons arguing for the approval of illicit acts lack this sincerity. I suppose that many of these promoters of unnatural sexual acts are themselves committing unnatural sexual acts in their marriages. That is why they seek a theological rationalization for their sins, and why they try so hard to convince others to commit the same sins (to make the behavior seem acceptable). And it is true, but very sad to say, that no theological argument carries any weight with them. They do not accept correction for their sins -- neither from the Saints, nor from the Magisterium, nor from Sacred Scripture.

Teachers will have the stricter judgment (cf. James 3:1).

If a married couple unfortunately commit these types of gravely immoral acts, they are responsible before God for their private sins. But when Catholics go online to loudly and repeatedly promote the use of gravely immoral sexual acts within marriage, thereby influencing many marriages (not just their own marriage), the harm is multiplied many times over, and so is the culpability. It is a much graver sin to influence many persons to sin mortally, than to commit a single mortal sin yourself. If you sin yourself, you might repent and go to Confession. But if you cause others to sin gravely, and you later repent, how will you undo the damage to those souls?

These false teachers who use the internet to convince many Catholics to sin gravely against the Sacrament of Marriage and against their own bodies will be severely punished by God.

[Hebrews]
{13:4} May marriage be honorable in every way, and may the marriage bed be immaculate. For God will judge fornicators and adulterers.

THIS IS ONE OF THE GNLD-GROUP:
that still lie that they are inviting people for Job interview {headed by Kevin Obetta, Anita Ogueri, Shade Jumoke Adewunmi/Azeke}
27 Ayodele Ojota Street, opposite African Church, Ilupeju, Lagos. {OR 27 Ayodele Ojo, traffic light B/stop Ilupeju Lagos state}
if you want to do Gnld business with fraudulent method and style then may be they can be your match
If you want to do GNLD business with Sincerity and clean heart before God then you should go to GNLD main office at Gbagada by Charly-boy, Wastace B/Stop or 1st Pedro Bus-Stop along Oshodi-Oworoshoki Expressway
thus
Plot 12 Chief Olu Oshunkeye Crescent Gbagada Industrial Estate, Gbagada Lagos.
Enter the compound and ask for the marketing manager of Gnld then tell him
You want to do Gnld business and he should tell you the GENUINE TRUTH about the business
or
else all those distributors at their gate will swindle you or those ones who use different office locations in Lagos and other states in Nigeria will deceive you with your own money and still make you a slave with your own money.
A word is enough for the wise.
I was once involved with them,
I lost close to 1.5 million in that business but thank God I have repented from all those sins
The money I lost there does not pain me since I am at peace with Jesus Christ now
but I have told them to repent and stop deceiving people and they refused
I have also made up my mind to expose all their evil plans, ideas, methods and locations with every mercenary within my disposal even prayers. I believe one day the Holy Spirit will deliver their souls from this wickedness applied in pursuing money implanted in their hearts by the devil!!! The Holy Spirit can break any heart as long as it is human heart thus "the heart of a king is in the hand of God like a flowing river and he directs it to wherever it pleases him" {Proverbs 21:1}
